About me:
My Background:
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I worked for over a decade as a social worker supporting children and families. That experience taught me the power of compassionate listening, patience, and the importance of feeling seen.
I trained at the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy (Level 7).
I'm a member of the BACP and currently working towards UKCP registration.

My training included also at least four years of personal psychotherapy, helping me understand the importance of empathy and self-awareness in supporting others.

How I work:

I believe we all carry stories shaped by our early experiences, relationships, and the roles we learned to play. In therapy, we gently look at these stories with curiosity and care—not to judge them, but to understand how they continue to influence your life today.
Using an integrative approach grounded in Transactional Analysis, I draw on trauma-informed and existential principles to help you reconnect with who you are underneath the anxiety, low self-esteem, or emotional distress.
There’s no pressure to be anyone but yourself. We move at your pace.

How Therapy with Me Feels:
Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and heard—perhaps for the first time. I provide a steady, non-judgmental presence where we can explore your story together.
You don’t need to have the words yet. We can begin with whatever you’re carrying.
I offer mostly online therapy for clients across the UK. I am however flexible to offer face-to-face sessions in Preston and the surroundings.

In addition to English, I also speak Romanian.

-
Anxiety and Stress:
We look at practical ways to manage anxiety and stress, understand what sets them off, and feel more grounded and calm in everyday life.

-
Depression:
We gently explore what may be contributing to low mood and emotional heaviness, while supporting positive changes and a kinder relationship with yourself.

-
Self-Esteem/Confidence:
Therapy offers a space to explore self-doubt, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop healthy boundaries that support confidence and self-respect.

-

I offer a safe and steady space to work with difficult experiences at your own pace. The focus is on helping you feel more grounded, safe, and in control, while reducing the ongoing impact of trauma on your life.

-
Relationships and Communication:
We will explore relationship patterns, improving communication, and creating more meaningful and supportive connections.

-
Cultural Adaptation and Life Transitions:
Support whilst navigate change, identity and the challenges of adapting to new environments, while building a sense of belonging.

-
ADHD Support:
I offer a supportive space to explore how ADHD affects your daily life, relationships, emotions, and sense of self. Together, we work to understand your unique patterns, build self-compassion, and find practical ways to manage challenges such as overwhelm, focus, emotional intensity, or self-criticism.

Therapy is not about changing who you are, but about supporting you to work with your nervous system, strengths, and needs, so life feels more manageable and balanced.

Each session is designed to guide you on a path toward healing, growth, and empowerment tailored to your unique journey.
